Leucistic Red Kite

This is a super-rare leucistic Red Kite. There are estimated to only be around 10 in the UK.

Leucism affects the colour pigment in fur or feathers. Unlike Albinism, which is a total loss of colour, Leucism is often just a partial loss of colour and does not affect the eyes.

I saw her on a trip to Wales with my friend Callum at Gigrin Farm in Rhayader, which is a Red Kite feeding station.
