Skimming the surface
I was under-prepared for the boat trip to the Inner Farne. I had gambled on having the 70-200mm mounted, for nice photos of the lighthouse and the cliffs, and the reach wasn't quite long enough for getting shots of the puffins flying over open water.
Luckily this one wasn't paying attention and got spooked when the boat got a little too close, so I was able to nab a flying shot at 200mm.
