Female Sparrowhawk portrait
This female Sparrowhawk was the biggest I've seen. She was absolutely huge.
She was snacking on an unfortunate Wood Pigeon, and hung around for a good half hour or so letting us take photos.
It was nice to be able to get close and get some portrait shots. Even at 600mm it's rare to be able to fill the frame with wildlife!
