This Kingfisher was one of the most frustrating photography experiences I've had to date.
Usually, when you're waiting for a particular animal, there are other things to photograph. Finches, Jays, even Crows.
Whilst waiting for this Kingfisher there was nothing. It was a 90 minute wait, then a burst of about 10 seconds and then nothing again for another 90 minutes.
What made matters worse, is I kept getting my predictions wrong on the dive and missing it. He would dive out of the left or right side of the frame.
Perseverance pays off though, this shot was the last visit of the day, so glad I got at least one decent shot!
