Stock Dove Portrait

This was the first time I went out with my new Sony A7R V, and it was arguably the most frustrating experience I've had with photography yet.

I got my A7R V when it first came out, and that meant, unfortunately, there were a lot of bugs to iron out.

It looks like there is a bug with the Sigma 150-600mm when being used with the Sony A7R V, which means no matter how locked on the focus is when you pull the trigger, the focus shifts when the shutter opens.

Out of around 1000 photos this day, I got around 10 which were sharp. The rest were all blurry despite the focus being on the eye almost every time.

I will write a more detailed blog post about this showing sample images, but in the meantime, here is the 1 sharp image I managed to capture of this majestic Heron!
